What is Manifestation?
Manifestation seems to be this very “new age” and trendy thing on the internet, but in reality, manifestation is something you’re doing every single second of every single day. Wait, what? Yep. Let’s talk science.
You see, we’re energetic beings. And when I say that, I don’t mean you have a ton of energy like a kid bouncing off the walls. I mean, you ARE energy. It kinda sounds like science fiction, but it’s true. It’s why when you’re watching a medical drama they shout, “CLEAR!” and then place electrodes on someone’s heart to shock it back into rhythm.
So, what does the fact that we’re energetic beings have to do with manifestation? You see, everything that is made of energy is vibrating at a certain frequency. And that’s where The Law of Attraction comes into play. The law of attraction says that energies that are vibrating at the same frequency attract each other.
Our Emotions are the Key to Manifestation
You’ve heard the car analogy when it comes to the law of attraction right? You know, your husband buys a Ford Raptor, and suddenly that’s all you can see on the road? (But enough about me! LOL). This same theory applies to your thoughts and emotions.
Think about the word, EMOTION. E-MOTIONS are literally ENERGY-IN-MOTION! That means that the same rules apply to our feelings! Any time you FEEL something and have an E-MOTION, you emit that frequency. And just like seeing that Raptor all over the freeways, you’re going to see more of the feelings that you’re putting out.
For example, if you had a bad morning, you’re going to MANIFEST things into the rest of your day that are a vibrational match to that. If you had a great morning, then what do you think you will attract the rest of the day?
How to Use a Gratitude Journal For Manifestation
That’s where gratitude comes in. When you start your day off with gratitude, what do you think you are drawing toward you throughout the rest of your day? In fact, that’s exactly how a gratitude practice changed my life!
You see, it wasn’t too long ago that I was suffering from depression and having a tough time in life. I learned about how gratitude literally changes our vibration. It alters are state so that our E-MOTIONS, are no longer vibrating at a lower frequency. When we remind ourselves of all the amazing things going on in our lives, we FEEL happy! And “happy people don’t kill their husbands.” Legally blond anyone? 😉 But on a serious note, happy people MANIFEST happy experiences into their lives because it’s a vibrational match.
Gratitude Journaling Can Be Used For Visualization
I had been writing in my gratitude journal for a while when it finally hit me! Writing in your gratitude journal is another way of visualization. Have you heard about visualizing in order to manifest miracles?
If you’ve read my blog about my Free Gratitude Journal Printable Worksheet, then you’re taking some time each day to write about the things that you want to manifest. But you don’t write about it asking for it to happen, right? Because you are coming from a state of lack. You write about the things you want to manifest, giving thanks as if you have already achieved it.
Like I said, I’d been writing for quite some time before I realized what I was really doing. I had been writing about how I had the best relationship with my daughter, how I was so grateful that I was making 3 sales per day in my Etsy shop, and that my husband could buy a Ford Raptor. What I didn’t realize was that every time I gave thanks for these things, I was creating pictures in my head. I was visualizing the laughter and joy between my daughter and I. I was visualizing my husband enjoying his new car. And I could FEEL the exhilaration of my phone saying ::CHA CHING!:: every time I received that new sale on Etsy.
That’s what it’s about! FEELING those feelings, and releasing that energy out into the world. Every time you do this, not only do you release the energy, but your brain starts to show you more and more ways to make these experiences continue to happen for you.
